Summer Touring and Festival Fun

Hi all. I sat down to write my monthly newsletter/blog and realised I hadn’t sent my December news out yet. And it’s nearly the end of January already!!

After two weeks of amazing music, food, beer and catching up with friends in Melbourne in November, I headed back to the land of the sweaty feeling very happy Richard Grace had offered to book me some shows down his way.  It had been absolutely ages since I’d set foot in Melbourne town. I’d like to say a BIG thanks to everyone who came out and supported my…Read more

It's August Already!

 Holy mackerel, it’s August already!

I can't believe how much time has gone past since I wrote my last news. I swear I must have been travelling in the Tardis!

A lot has happened since that last post.

Firstly my trip overseas this August/Sep/Oct to UK and Ireland has been postponed till next year. After I got back from my trip to Sicily, I realised I had hardly spent any time at home in the last year. My dogs were on the point of disowning me! I also felt I was rushing into a tour that I hadn't really…Read more

Post National and the coming year

What an amazing time I had at the National Folk Festival. Despite the freezing temperatures at night, people still managed to come out and enjoy the shows, tho I must say the session bar was absolutely heaving, being one of the warmest places on site! I got to catch up with old friends ( Sam Martin, The Cowgirls first bass player being one of them) and make heaps of new ones including Rory Mcleod and Paul Monk. Had the best shows as my band all rocked out and made me look so good. Thanks to Damien Neil…Read more

Happy St Patricks Day

Hey all! Wow this year is already flying past, I can't believe it's mid March already.
Since Illawarra Folk Festival (which was the best yet!) I've been to Sydney, back to Darwin then to Sicily and am now in Ireland!
Thought I'd be doing a bit of traveling this year, and there's more to come.

I'm in Ireland to visit friends, celebrate St Patricks Day and meet with some agents that will hopefully help me return to Ireland and UK in August for a months worth of shows. Will keep you posted on dates.
Next week I…Read more
