Surely it's not been a year!

Holy moly has it been over a year!!!!

I promise I don't mean to be slack, time has just disappeared.

It's been a challenging year with a black cloud following me around most days of the first 8 months.
Just this last month things have totally changed and my life has taken a drastically different new path.

A new job as General Manager at one of Darwin's oldest and well loved community arts organisation Tactile Arts is definitely a challenge but one I'm really grateful for and look forward to gaining a whole new skill set. Ralph is loving being able to come in to the air-conditioned office with me and keep all the members busy with pats.

I'm still doing the odd gig here and there, and am looking at a residency next year in the NT Archives writing songs about wild women of the Territory.

The Living Room house concert series is going to be taking a hiatus as I'm having to move house Dec 7. The last hurrah is on Sat Nov 24 with myself, Lila Wellington and one other fabulously talented female singer songwriter yet to be announced.
Lewis Parsons will be accompanying on mando and viola. Tix $25 on the door, email me to book a seat. BYO drinks and nibbles as I'll be all packed up and won't be cooking.

Aside from that the buildup is in full swing so it's hot and sweaty and the beers are going down very easy.

When the dust settles with the new job, I'll swing by a few of your neighbourhoods and do a couple of shows.

Until then, stay cool, stay calm and get out and support live original music whenever you can>

Cheers and beers

Tracey
