New Single Just a Heart

Just a quick check in to let you know my next and possibly last single from my album Another Broken Juliet will be released tomorrow! 😀

Just a Heart has two versions on the album but we decided the South of the Border version was a bit more uplifting, even if it's still about having your heart broken.

Featuring Gleny Rae on accordion and Ray Cullen on pedal steel it's definitely a Willie Nelson, Patsy Cline meets Flaco Jimenez feel! 🪗

I guess the time I've spent in Mexico has really had an influence on me. and my music! 🍹

You can find it tonight after 8pm AEST on my website and Bandcamp at the links below ↙️

Since leaving Sydney a couple of weeks ago I've been having a lovely time hanging out with my really good friend Nic and her gorgeous kelpie Mieha just inland of Coffs Harbour, on the edge of Bindarri National Park. Absolutely stunning country! 😍

I've been doing lots of walking up and down very steep hills and swimming in mountain creeks, a total heartstarter - BRRRRR!!! 🥶

Feeling really energised and ready for the next adventure! ⚡️

After I do a small house concert this coming weekend at Nic's treehouse, I'll be heading north to Brissie via Grafton and a ranch on the Clarence River. So any Brisvegas / Sunny Coast people that want to meet up for a catchup beer, let me know! I'll be there for a couple of days before heading further north to Hervey Bay.

After that, it all depends on whether Qld gets hit with more soaking rain and the roads get cut or not. It'll be a VERY long detour back to Darwin if they do! AND with fuel prices going up more and more, I may not get back! 😬 Stay tuned!!

I'm looking forward to spending more time in my trusty ute when I get back from my overseas trip May - September. Hopefully heading to a festival in your neck of the woods!

But until then, I just want to say thank you so much for buying my music instead of streaming. It really helps me to keep making music and being able to get back out and perform it for you at a show or festival in the future.

I hope I get to see you for a few cold beers and a good chin wag somewhere soon! 🍺

Onwards to the next adventure! 😀

Biggest hugs

Tracey ❤️
